Both Vaginal and vulvar cancer are rare conditions. Any of the symptoms below are far more likely to be caused by something else. Never be afraid to discuss these with your doctor.

Vulval Cancer
Vulval cancer tends to occur in older women but is increasing in younger women.  It most commonly causes a Chronic itch, but various growths or ulcers of various colours that persist might also be present. These are usually found on the Labia majora or Labia minora.  If you have discomfort or itch on the Vulva or an ulcer on an irregular area that you are worried about, make an appointment to see a Doctor, general practice or the GU or Family Planning clinic.

Vaginal Cancer
Vaginal cancer is mostly found in women in their 60s, although, again, it is rare even in this group. However, it may also be found in teenage women whose mothers used the drug DES early in Pregnancy to avoid miscarriage. Symptoms include abnormal bleeding or Discharge.
