The overall aims and objectives of condom provision as a whole are: To help reduce the spread of HIV, other sexually transmitted Infections and the number of unintended pregnancies by: 1. increasing the availability and accessibility of Condoms for the general public, including key target groups 2. reducing the barriers of financial cost and embarrassment in getting condoms 3. providing information on sexual health services
This scheme provides free supplies of condoms for anyone living or working in Lanarkshire. On presenting a C Card, your choice of condoms is handed over in a discrete package. You can choose from flavoured, natural, latex-free, femidon, sensitive, strong (supplied with lubricant), or a variety bag with lube. You can go to any C Card Centre – you don’t even have to give you name. C Cards are displayed in all the local health centres, and in several workplaces and community services.
