Contraception

There is a lot of information contained on the site already about condoms.

We cannot (over emphasise) how important it is to use condoms to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections and also condoms are the only method of contraception, which protects you from catching HIV.

The following section however describes methods of contraception, which are more efficient at preventing pregnancy. There is nothing wrong with using condoms to prevent infection and using an additional contraceptive method to prevent pregnancy. We would recommend this in many situations.

If you are looking to make an appointment at one of our clinics our appointment line number is 0845 618 7191 (Line Open Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.)  Clinic times and venues are available in the Services section of this site.
