Since March 2020, the Sexual Health Service has had to change the way it operates, due to the Coronavirus. There are no clinics operating on a walk-in basis (including Young People’s clinics), but you now must have an appointment before attanding any sexual health or Young people’s Clinic. The following telephone number is available for patients to contact, Mon – Thurs: 9am–4.45pm and Fri: 9am–4pm;
0300 303 0251 – Appointment line to arrange an appointment
Contraceptives by post are available to patients already known to the service and young people 20 years and under. All patients need a phone consultation and if suitable can then get contraception sent to them in the post (pills/injection). Some patients will need appointment for blood pressure/BMI check before they can be given the combined pill. If you have already had the contraceptive pill prescribed through Lanarkshire Sexual Health, you can get a repeat pill prescription by making an online booking for a telephone consultation here. Patients who have less than 2 weeks supply left are advised to call the appointment line above.
We will continue to support the Pharmacies in delivery of emergency contraception with Levonelle and Ella One.
